Patrik Skoog isn’t only one of the youngest veteran techno and house producers from Sweden, he’s also one of the most interesting and inspired. Though incredibly versatile, the sustained energy in his sets and productions are equally exceptional. In the last two years, Agaric established the Club Tracks 10” series on his label We Are. Besides his own stellar productions, collaborations with close friends Shonky, Walker Barnard, and Ed Davenport have also graced the Club Tracks series. International support came from leading DJs like Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Ben Klock, Luciano, Joris Voorn, Magda, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, and Adam Beyer. Above all, his productions were championed by Josh Wink, who went on to sign his album debut, “Who Made Up The Rules,” on his Ovum imprint. After more than 100 vinyl releases, Patrik Skoog can look back at quite a history:

Inappropriate Touch is the project of a New York city music producer currently living in Berlin. Having become an accomplished DJ in his own right playing with the likes of Craig Smith, Arthur Baker and Boys Noize he set out to Berlin to start a new life in a city yet to emerge.
The child of migrant parents combined with the cultural scene of a post city makes for a interesting subjective approach to music which as best can be described “music that goes best with a scotch or a mojito” something that sits quite well in contemporary Berlin. Faced with the daunting task of overcoming artistic angst and armed with some trusty synthesizers he hopes to take pursue an artisan approach to producing dance music by Combining elements of funk, disco, and house music to create a raison d’etre for the dance floors. In his own words it can be described simply as such:
“Inappropriate Touch is disco, its House its also illegal and its mostly 115 bpm dance edits in the summertime coming from after parties of New York city to dance floors of Berlin.”
