DJ S2 is a modern dance music legend and we’re well honored to have him on the show.

From his early days producing for labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Aqua Boogie and Groove On, to his consistent output of deep, percussive and dubby cuts for fine imprints like Peacefrog, Ovum and NRK, David Alvarado has been a true gift to the underground. From his home in Los Angeles, this remarkable producer and DJ has been doing it non-stop, keeping his game true and his guiding light shining brightly. We’re truly blessed to have such a figure on our show.

Nolan Haener Pushes The Secret Button 31/01/2012

While he’s no stranger to the decks, after ten plus years of selecting choice cuts Nolan Haener has found himself as one of the guiding lights of the new breed of San Francisco underground DJs. Originally hailing from Texas, Haener was introduced to his current musical partner Brian Bejarano by Dallas-bred hero Eric Estornel, better known as Maetrik and Maceo Plex. Their collaborative effort was dubbed Re:Body and has been making waves and throwing raves in the Bay that are significant and memorable on all levels. We’re very happy to host such a great DJ on The Secret Button.

Alland Byallo Pushes The Secret Button 29/12/2011

The new year is upon us. Where did 2011 go? Well it was a year of transition for The Secret Button’s host Alland Byallo. Having moved to Berlin in August of 2010, the following year was spent learning about the city, exploring it’s incredible universe of night life and quietly developing his sound as a producer under all of these new influences. Catching up after singles and remixes for legendary labels such as Poker Flat, Moodmusic, Trenton, Room With A View and Adjunct Audio, Byallo has come to form a new imprint of his own, Bad Animal. Watch for it in 2012. But for now just enjoy this special two hour Silvester session by TSB’s four-eyed, jovial host.

From his early days as an astoundingly young hard techno powerhouse, releasing under various guises on labels such as Drumcode, Native Diffusion, and Nummer, to his current chart-topping tech house wizardry for Ovum, Dumb-Unit and his own We Are imprint, Patrik Skoog AKA Agaric has proven himself to be one of the most valuable treasures of electronic music that Sweden has offered to date. Currently based in Berlin, his steady solo releases and his collaborative efforts with previous TSB guest Walker Barnard are consistently blowing minds and finding their way into the record bags and charts of countless DJs. Since it’s inception last year, Bloody Mary’s Dame-Music has been gaining steam and building an identity that’s truly unique. Half jack-fueled tech-house bombs, half emotive and tastefully pop-laced techno soul, the imprint is coming into it’s own and truly reflecting the tastes of it’s founder. Bloody Mary has been pushing amazing productions and highly energetic monster DJ sets all over the world for years now, and we’re happy to try to harness this amazing woman’s energy and bring it to you on the next installment of The Secret Button.
